As you know, my name is Jacob Saylor. I am a software and web developer. I have a passion for computers and technology. I wanted to become a software developer since I was 5 when I was playing games in DOS with my dad as a kid. Over the years I grew more and more interested until I took a VB course in High School. I was hooked from then on and knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I originally went to McKendree University my freshman year and majored in Computer Science with a thread of emphasis in graphical user interface development, and a minor in Computer Information Systems. I then transfered and finished out my years at Murray State University. I served as a secretary for my local ACM Chapter(Association for Computing Machinery) and technology chair to my fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon.
I currently work at Service Net as an Sr. Software Developer. Service Net, now owned by AIG, deals with Warranty Contracts on consumer products from companies such as Google, Apple, and LG. The company is located in Jeffersonville, IN, which is a stone throw away from downtown Louisville, Ky.
