About Me

Growing Up

As you know, my name is Jacob Saylor. I am a software and web developer. I have a passion for computers and technology. I wanted to become a software developer since I was 5 when I was playing games in DOS with my dad as a kid. Over the years I grew more and more interested until I took a VB course in High School. I was hooked from then on and knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Education

I originally went to McKendree University my freshman year and majored in Computer Science with a thread of emphasis in graphical user interface development, and a minor in Computer Information Systems. I then transfered and finished out my years at Murray State University. I served as a secretary for my local ACM Chapter(Association for Computing Machinery) and technology chair to my fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon.
